How Often Do You Speak To Your Best Friend?

 I remember an elder asking me a sincere question.


How often do you speak to your best friend???


I just shrugged and said daily, as I live with her. She is my wife, with a big grin on my face.


The Elder said not that best friend.


I looked at him like he knew something that I didn't know.


He did.





He told me that the ETERNAL ONE is your best friend. 


He then proceeded to inform me of a verse in John 15:14.

In turn, this leads me to a conventional verse in Proverbs 18:24


Since The ETERNAL ONE  has been there from the start.

 Proverbs 17:17 started ringing in my mind.


Reflecting on so many friends not being available in time of need, Proverbs 20:6 put me in silence because of The ETERNAL ONE availability.


The Elder grabbed his books & started walking away. 

I said. Where are you going ??


He responded,  "You need some catching up time with your best friend".

    Not enough as I sometimes allow this world to distract me from the most important thing in this world, our righteous path.

  "What book are you reading?"  This older yet elegant woman says to me. My response while sitting on a bench by a quiet park: "The Scriptures." The woman responds : "That is good to see you are into Biblical Forensics?" I told her : "I like the sound of that." "Biblical Forensics." Hmmmmmmmm... Scriptures remind us that we are called to prove all things  according to 1 Thessalonians 5:21 . We are here to test and detect the wicked of this world noted  in 1 John 4:1 . Our inspections are not to be taken lightly with the evidence we have been given displayed in Luke 12:48 . So with the overwhelming evidence as being apart of YEHOVAH's Forensic's team - Revelations 5:10 . Will You Let YEHOSHUA Have The Last Dance???

  "Ehhh.... Are you looking for your dancing shoes?" My elder utters as he passes by our fellowship center. My response: "Dancing shoes?" He responds : "Don't be late for the last dance with the Bridegroom?" Then, he proceeds to walk away humming one of his favorite hymns. I'm now thinking out loud : "The Bridegroom."
