Wait... YEHOVAH Hates???

Image
"Yes. God hates too"? Another street preacher silenced those in the parking lot listening. Some murmured: "Are we serving the same God?" Meanwhile, a dad told his son, "I think it's time to head home." Is it impossible for our Creator to hate something? Scriptures does list quite a few things YEHOVAH hates :  HE hates divorce in Malachi 2:16 . HE hates injustice of all kinds in  Proverbs 11:1 . HE hates lying lips in Proverbs 12:22 . HE hates arrogance in Proverbs 16:5 . HE hates cross dressing in  Deuteronomy 22:5 . HE hates those who consume unclean foods in  Deuteronomy 14:3 . For a continuing list of what YEHOVAH hates please check out in the honorable mentioning in Proverbs 6:16-19 . The reality is most people will talk about YEHOVAH's love to others but not share what YEHOVAH hates because of fear of losing members or  potential believers? Apostle Paul was inspired to remind us when we are of  The Way , then who are we really trying to ...

Do You Have The Mark Of YEHOVAH?

Image
"Do you want to know what is the mark of the beast"? It's just one of many YouTube experts expressing this topic for   itchy ears . Interestingly, Scriptures doesn't give off enough information for this to even be popular. What about another mark that we should be discussing??  Scriptures remind us that we should be marked by YEHOVAH Spirit as our sealing mark in  Ephesians 4:30 . Those who have the mark of  YEHOVAH will not entertain or practice all forms of wickedness in  2 Timothy 2:19 . Even the angels of  YEHOVAH know these believers by their mark on their foreheads in Revelation 9:4 . YEHOVAH 's Word is very symbolic as we head into the world full of many focused in on predicting what the mark of the beast could be. Let us who are believers of The Way live by the marking already put on your foreheads and hands mentioned in Deuteronomy 6:6-8 .

You Can't Be Godly Without This!!!

Image
"You don't have to be religious to be godly. " Our atheist co-worker stated to another co-worker believer outside during our staff social. The believer responded: "Who said anything about religion? I have a relationship with my Creator." After hearing both views, I pulled out my phone and found some  mind-provoking verses that sparked a bright conclusion.   Scriptures remind us that pure and undefiled religion involves less talking and more action in   James 1:26-27 . Also Scriptures inspires us to be more religious, as this molds us  to be more godly in Deuteronomy 10:12-18 . There seems to be a pattern of godliness involving helping those who we may not know in  Leviticus 19:34 . As well as the poor mentioned in Proverbs 19:17 . YEHOVAH was very religious because He cares for strangers mentioned in  Psalms 146:9 . So being religious is not only godly but is also being holy. Isn't that what YEHOVAH is expecting of us in  1 Peter 1:16 ???

Did YEHOVAH Call Us To Be Comedians?

Image
"Lighten up. Even God loves comedy. " These are the words from an actor in a Biblical theatrical play I viewed the other night. The other actor responded : "Where is that mentioned in the Bible?" The silence was deafening because the other actor could not find it on his phone. You could even sense that Google Search wanted no part of this by the facial reaction of the one searching. The Scriptures remind us that YEHOVAH is not seeking for us to be jokers or class clowns in Ephesians 5:4 . Scriptures rekindle the fact that with a lot of jokes come with words of deception in Proverbs 26:19 . Even Solomon came to the reality that excessive laughter is madness in Ecclesiastes 2:2 . Solomon also later came to the conclusion that reflection is better than humour as it leaves a deeper thought pattern on us in life  in Ecclesiastes 7:3 . So the world my look for comedy to soothe their anxiety and pain in life. Since we are members of The Way , we don't confirm to the wo...

Is Your Speech Seasoned???

Image
"I don't get why the pastor is cussing like a sailor?" Another story from a co-worker telling her story at work during lunch break. Looking frustrated, she proceeded to season her almost burnt-crisp fries. The Scriptures remind us that our words are to be seasoned in Colossians 4:6 . Scriptures also lets us know in a tasteless world that we are the salt in  Matthew 5:13 . We serve a sweet creator YEHOVAH , so lets extract His sweetness as mentioned in Proverbs 16:24 . So as children of YEHOVAH & believers of The Way . Let us strive to keep all our conversations wholesome as mentioned  in Ephesians 4:29 . Not falling into the tasteless discussions of the world noted in 2 Timothy 2:16 .

What Do You See!!!

Image
"So tell me, what do you see?"  The words out of a blind man as I sat beside him at a bus stop bench. It was odd because he had binoculars. I told him with a blank look on my face. I see cars passing, a mother with a stroller and I think the bus coming. He smiled, then passed binoculars to me and asked the question again. "What do you see?" After grabbing the binoculars with my eyes zoning in on the lens. I noticed writing on each lens. The words displaying  " 2 Corinthians 5:7 ." I smiled and removed the lens from my eyes and he was no longer on the bench. Was I hallucinating or did come to realize a deeper meaning about life? Scriptures remind us that we are part of foundation that didn't rely on sight but faith in  Hebrews 11:13 . Scriptures also prescribes to our mental lens that all we see around us is temporary according to 2 Corinthians 4:18 . There is a time coming soon where  The Ultimate Optometrist  will give all those a visual that will no...

YEHOVAH Will Not Desert You!!!

Image
"Why does everyone always desert me." This quote above is the echo heard in the minds of many today. Why does this quote continue to receive oxygen in circulation? Simple. We have been looking in the wrong places.   Scriptures remind us that we all fall short of perfection daily  in Romans 3:23 . Scriptures also reflect that human trust is not only fragile but we are cursed by trusting in mankind according to  Jeremiah 17:5 . King David made it clear how he perceives exalting anyone before YEHOVAH in  Psalm 8:4 . So let us remember if you feel left out from this world... YEHOVAH is faithful and will not leave you because you made Him your true and loyal focus. You can find The Eternal One's loyal vision in 1 Corinthians 1:9 & 1 Thessalonians 5:24  .

Are You Happy Or Joyful?

Image
"Let us be joyful, not just happy." The pastor echoes this loudly as the congregation shouts.  "Amen." Watching this on television years ago, pondering what the difference is.  Years later, there actually is a difference: Happiness is a temporary feeling.  Joyfulness is more of a constant attitude. Happiness is external. Joyfulness is internal. Happiness is dependent on the circumstance. Joyfulness is independent of the circumstance. The Scriptures remind us to count it all joy when we go through trials in  James 1:2 . The Scriptures also tell us that the long-suffering we go through won't  compare to the everlasting  joy in  Romans 8:18 . Not to neglect when we get persecuted, we are to be joyful knowing we are a part of a family foundation in  Matthew 5:12 . Being members of  The Way . We are assigned to rejoice always in 1 Thessalonians 5:16 & Philippians 4:4 .  Will you accept this assignment daily & Joyfully...

Are We Going Back To All Speaking One Language?

Image
"Why Can't We All Just Speak One Language." A disgruntled and irritated bus passenger yells out on a crowded bus full of a diversity of people on their cell phones. Looking from the back of the bus, he wipes his soaked forehead during that humid day. Other than the dirty looks he received, the truth may have flown past many heads during his opportunity to vent.   Scriptures tells us that the languages spoken today resulted from primitive act of disobedience in Genesis chapter 11:1-9 . The Scriptures also displays a future  restored garden of Eden .    Most scholars agree that  Adam & Khavah spoke Hebrew when residing in the garden. Here are two future prophecies to reflect on below: The ancient Egyptians who despised ancient Israel will speak the same language mentioned in  Isaiah 19:18 . Not only the Egyptians but many nations in the future mentioned in  Zephaniah 3:9 . Scriptures goes as far as to giving a visual of many nations kee...
