4 Things To That Will Make YEHOVAH Smile On Your Birthday!!!

 


"Should I remain still like a pebble on my birthday?"


Thoughts echoed out loud about a believer reading a blog about birthdays being pagan.


We've all been in this situation before.


One thing is for sure ...You can move in a Godly way on your appointed day. 


Here are just four tips to please our Creator on your birthday :









1) Find ways to serve others as oppose to just serving yourself like typical birthday revellers. 

In doing this you're connecting with the Messiah as mentioned

 in Matthew 20:28.


2) Give gifts to others you know can't pay you back...

This will remind you that not only is it more blessed be a giver than a receiver but you would be denying yourself from any high expectations from others

 (Acts 20:35  & Philippians 2:3-4)


3)Another way to put a smile on YEHOVAH's face is choose your appointed day and convert it into a day of Fasting whether from food or any delightful pleasures you would often engage in.

This step not only would put a smile on our Creator's face but would have our importance decrease while HE increases just like what's said in John 3:30.


4) Instead of spending time partying and living it up with familiar faces...  


Why not use that day to connect with those who are neglected, abused, mistreated and unable to help themselves with daily necessities.

This will give us a reality check that in everyday which includes our birthdays, we can show our appreciation to our King by lending ourselves to others- Proverbs 19:17.

Will You Let YEHOSHUA Have The Last Dance???

  "Ehhh.... Are you looking for your dancing shoes?" My elder utters as he passes by our fellowship center. My response: "Dancing shoes?"
