Remember This Lady !!!

 


"Now That's a lady that will give all that she has to you."


The words uttered from the coordinator of the Salvation Army food bank as we both observed an elderly woman volunteering for several year.


Now that I think about....


She reminds me of another beautiful soul in the Scriptures.





Luke 21:1-4 gives us a sneak peek about what a person heart should look like in the Scriptures.


4 Lessons we can take away from what we can learn from this grateful widow that caught YEHOSHUA's eye :


1) The Widow's heart was in the right place - Matthew 6:33


2) The Widow was eager to serve -

Matthew 20:28


3) The Widow was driven by empathy - Philippians 2:4 


4) The Widow was a generous giver  - Proverbs 22:9

Biblical Forensics Is Hiring!!!

  "What book are you reading?"  This older yet elegant woman says to me. My response while sitting on a bench by a quiet park: "The Scriptures." The woman responds : "That is good to see you are into Biblical Forensics?" I told her : "I like the sound of that." "Biblical Forensics." Hmmmmmmmm... Scriptures remind us that we are called to prove all things  according to 1 Thessalonians 5:21 . We are here to test and detect the wicked of this world noted  in 1 John 4:1 . Our inspections are not to be taken lightly with the evidence we have been given displayed in Luke 12:48 . So with the overwhelming evidence as being apart of YEHOVAH's Forensic's team - Revelations 5:10 . Let us always be careful not to tamper with unchanging & crucial evidence put before us -   Deuteronomy 4:2 & 2 Timothy 2:15 !!!

Will You Let YEHOSHUA Have The Last Dance???

  "Ehhh.... Are you looking for your dancing shoes?" My elder utters as he passes by our fellowship center. My response: "Dancing shoes?" He responds : "Don't be late for the last dance with the Bridegroom?" Then, he proceeds to walk away humming one of his favorite hymns. I'm now thinking out loud : "The Bridegroom." Then another quick thought echoes out : "OOOHHHH ...THE MESSIAH.........." Scriptures remind us that there is a soon coming wedding to take place mentioned  in Revelation 19:6-10 . This wedding will be more entertaining than the dancing of King David noted  in 2 Samuel 6:14 . With all the rejoicing sounds of the harps and tambourines  demonstrated in Psalms 149:3 .
